When something so devastating and horrible happens, like it did at the Boston Marathon today, we often wonder why. As we all know, we may not get the answer that we are looking for.
Maybe we should try to think of the things we can do to help each other. Go give blood, volunteer at the hospital, do anything that gets you involved and benefits someone other than yourself! Focus on the needs of others!
We pray for all of those runners, spectators that were there to support the runners and volunteers that make it possible for runners.

Just when you can't . . .
Saw a motivational poster the other day and thought, we'll that could have been better! It said:
Just when you can't run another step . . . you remember you are 4 miles from home. So suck it up, because that is where the food is.
I can wholeheartedly say that this thought has gone through my mind while running! But it doesn't get me up off the couch and out running. Or keep me going while I am running. So we ask you, how would you finish the sentence:
Just when you can't run another step . . .
